You can help us make a difference this year by making monthly contributions. We must purchase property and build a home for the girls. Their lives are being destroyed by life on the streets and we must do our part to make a difference. Each time they see us they ask, "Why can't I come to live with you?" There are a couple of places that we try to get them to go to for help, but because they are strangers to them it is difficult to convince them to seek the help. Our hearts break each time that we have to turn another young lady away. We need business men and woman to make large contributions, churches to make us part of their monthly missions giving, and individuals to give each month a gift large or small. If each one will do their part this year, we can build a place for these girls and save more lives. Click to make a donation. Many of these girls have suffered abuse in their homes, parental rights have been severed and then they are placed in orphanages. The growing crisis on the streets is that there are more and more youth between the ages of 16 and 21 who have been forced to live on the streets after being released from the orphanages because they have no skills. Our research reveals that 5% of these youth will be dead within just five years of their release from the orphanages and 90% will end up either on the streets, in prison, addicted to drugs, alcohol or prostitution. They are trying to survive but they don't, because many end up infected with HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis and Tuberculosis.
sixteen and eighteen youth are released from government run institutions to begin life on their own. Most have no life skills training and no career training, so they soon find themselves involved in drugs, pornography, prostitution, prison, on the streets or even worse, DEAD.
Restoration House sent two staff and three boys to Moscow for a great time to draw closer to God.
